VoiceLink Help

Task-first documentation for VoiceOver, keyboard, and desktop users.

Start with the task you need to complete

VoiceLink documentation is organized around the actions people actually take in the app. Start with the guide that matches what you need right now, then move to the more detailed pages only if you need them.

Top Guides

Get connected

Install the app, choose a server, and join your first room.

Open Getting Started

My VoiceLink web portal

Your account, security, connected apps, rooms, downloads and, for server owners and admins, Admin, in one tabbed web page. No WordPress or other website software needed.

Open the My VoiceLink guide

Joining with an invite

Before you join from an invite you see the server, its owner (verified or not) and who invited you, then choose Continue, Not now or Report.

Open the invite guide

Use VoiceOver

Read the task-first accessibility guide for room lists, messages, and controls.

Open VoiceOver Guide

Talk, whisper and send intercom

Turn your microphone on and off, whisper to one person, and send intercom messages and broadcasts. Works the same in the web app, iPhone, iPad and Mac, and they all hear each other.

Open Live Audio Guide

Manage rooms

Learn how room details, room access, and room audio settings are organized. Search and filter rooms, browse Federated Rooms across servers, and add rooms from templates.

Open Room Guide

Room background media

Music or radio the server plays under the voices, the same for everyone in the room. Set your own background volume or mute it, and control the music if you manage the room.

Open Background Media Guide

Agents in rooms

Talk to Clawdia, System Monitor, Sophia, Sapphire, Elder and Adam in chat, out loud or privately. For admins: choose which agents are in which rooms.

Open Agents Guide

Admin chat

Run your server by chatting: status, rooms, who is on, invites, agents, modules, bans and restarts, in VoiceLink or from the VoiceLink contact in Thrive.

Open Admin Chat Guide

Fix a problem

Use app support from server or room details when the issue belongs to a specific server, or open the web contact page for general account help.

Open Contact Support

Connect the mesh

Use Headscale or Tailscale private access for OpenClaw, VoiceLink agents, and server tools.

Open Mesh Guide

Common Tasks

Join Main or Community

Use the server list to choose the correct server, then activate a room row to open details, preview media, or join.

Check who is in a room

Each room in the list reads its name with separate counts, for example "Classroom, 3 people, 4 bots". Open room details or join the room, then move to the user list and message area to confirm users, bots, and system messages.

Adjust audio safely

Open the room controls or user actions menu to change monitoring, mute, volume, or room background media without leaving the room.

Send diagnostics

Open Settings for diagnostics, or choose Contact Server Support from a server or room to create a private ticket tied to that context.

  1. Read Getting Started if you are new to VoiceLink or switching devices.
  2. Read Using VoiceLink with VoiceOver if you rely on VoiceOver, keyboard navigation, or spoken status updates.
  3. Read Live Microphone, Whisper and Intercom for the microphone switch, whisper, intercom and broadcast, with every shortcut and gesture.
  4. Read Room Management if you create rooms, moderate rooms, manage room media, search Federated Rooms, or run a server (federation listing and room templates).
  5. Read Room Background Media for the music or radio played under the voices: your own volume and mute, controls, the music library and queue.
  6. Read Agents in Rooms to talk to the AI agents in rooms, and for the admin Agents settings.
  7. Read Admin Chat if you run a server and want to manage it by chatting, in VoiceLink or from Thrive.
  8. Read Authentication if you need to sign in, reconnect, or work with more than one server.
  9. Read OpenClaw Mesh and Tailnet Access if you connect agents, iOS clients, desktop clients, or server tools through Headscale or Tailscale.

Contact and Feedback

If the guide for your task does not match what the app says, send diagnostics from the app and include the server name, room name, and the exact label of the control that did not behave as expected.
